Our website is hosted on a server provided by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The server is located in Germany. We have concluded a data processing agreement with IONOS in accordance with Article 28 GDPR.
When you visit our website, the server automatically records the following information in log files:
Purpose: To deliver the website to your device, ensure its stability and security, and detect and defend against attacks and misuse.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of our website.
Retention: Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest. Where a specific security incident needs to be investigated, the relevant entries may be kept until the investigation is complete.
Language selection: Separately from the log files described above, we use your IP address on a purely transient basis to determine your approximate country, so that our website can automatically show you the correct language version (English or German). This lookup is performed locally on our own server using an offline, self-hosted country database; your IP address is not sent to, or processed by, any third party for this purpose, and nothing derived from this lookup is stored afterwards. The legal basis for this is again Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in providing you with our website in the appropriate language.

The form also contains a hidden field that is used only to detect automated spam submissions. It is left empty by human visitors and is not used to identify you.
Your details are sent over an encrypted connection to our web server at IONOS and forwarded as an email to our mailbox management@sclng.ai, which is also hosted by IONOS in Germany. The same applies if you email us directly.
Purpose: To respond to your inquiry, to arrange a free assessment or demo if you request one, and to prepare a possible engagement.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your inquiry relates to entering into a contract with us. Otherwise, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries addressed to us.
Is providing your data required? Providing your data is voluntary. However, without your name, email address and message, we cannot respond to your inquiry.
No AI processing: Inquiries are currently read and answered by a person. They are not processed by AI models, large language models (LLMs) or our own Agentic Operating System. If this changes, we will update this policy beforehand and name any service providers involved.
Please do not send confidential business information through the contact form. If an engagement becomes more concrete, we can agree on a suitable way to share such information.
If your inquiry leads to an engagement, we process the contact and communication data of our clients' contact persons to prepare, perform and administer the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR where the contract is with your employer), and to comply with legal retention obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
As part of a prospective client's evaluation process, we may offer to arrange direct contact with an existing client acting as a reference. We only share an existing client's contact details for this purpose with that client's own separate, specific consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given in advance for that individual introduction.
